The Canadian Business Law Blog (CBLB) is an online forum for the discussion of pressing issues in contemporary capital markets. The Blog brings together various stakeholders to explore current trends, best practices and policy initiatives relating to Canadian corporate law, securities regulation and financial markets. The Blog represents a locus for thought and leadership in all aspects of business law and will serve as a forum for recommendations to support the fairness and efficiency of Canada’s markets.
The Canadian Business Law Blog was founded by Professor Anita Anand and is an initiative of the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto. Professor Anand is currently on leave from the Faculty of Law as she serves as Member of Parliament for Oakville, Ontario, and Minister of Public Services and Procurement for the Government of Canada. As of September 2020, the blog is managed by Zachary Lechner-Sung (J.D./M.B.A Candidate at the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto), Thien Hoang (J.D. Candidate at the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto), and Bryan Yau (J.D./M.B.A Candidate at the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto).
